Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Rymind. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

2. Account Registration

To use Rymind, you must create an account by providing:

• Your full name
• A valid email address (verified via a one-time code)
• A valid phone number (verified via SMS code)
• A password (minimum 6 characters)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Description of the Service

Rymind is a personal reminder and notification management application that allows you to:

• Create, edit, and manage reminders with customisable scheduling, repeat intervals, and lead times.
• Receive reminder notifications via push notification, WhatsApp message, SMS, or email.
• Set reminders for other people by entering their contact details (name, phone, email). If the recipient is also a Rymind user, they will receive a push notification directly on their device.
• Save contacts within the app for quick reminder assignment.
• Sign in to Rymind Web by scanning a QR code from the web companion at rymind.in, enabling you to manage reminders from your computer.
• Link and manage web sessions (linked devices) from your mobile app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing communications to others.
• Create reminders intended to disturb, threaten, or harm any person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, virus, or harmful content.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

5. Reminder Delivery

Rymind delivers reminders through multiple channels, including push notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, and email. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Delivery is not guaranteed. Reminder delivery depends on third-party services (including but not limited to Twilio, Resend, Expo Push Notification Service, and your mobile carrier). Network outages, device settings, or service interruptions may prevent or delay delivery.
• You are responsible for ensuring your notification settings (both in-app and on your device) are configured correctly to receive reminders.
• Standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier may apply to SMS notifications.
• Reminders sent to others (non-self reminders) may require you to manually send certain channels (WhatsApp, SMS, email) from within the app after the reminder fires.

6. Rymind Web (Companion Web Application)

Rymind Web allows you to access your reminders from a browser by scanning a QR code with your mobile app. By using Rymind Web, you acknowledge that:

• Web sessions remain active for up to 30 days after linking unless you manually revoke them.
• You can view and revoke linked web sessions at any time from the "Linked Devices" section in the mobile app.
• You are responsible for signing out of web sessions on shared or public computers.
• Device information (browser type, operating system) is collected when you link a web session.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to the app design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Unified Business Web Solution and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

"Rymind" and the Rymind logo are trademarks of Unified Business Web Solution. All other trademarks appearing in the Service are the property of their respective owners.

8. Fees and Payment

Rymind is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscription plans, or premium tiers in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance, and any paid features will be clearly identified before purchase. Your continued use of free features will not be affected.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Reminders will be delivered on time or at all.
• The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UNIFIED BUSINESS WEB SOLUTION, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unified Business Web Solution and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Account Termination and Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can permanently delete your account directly from the app by navigating to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete my account. Upon confirmation, the following data is immediately and permanently removed:

• Your user account (name, email, phone, password hash)
• All reminders (active, pending, completed, and cancelled)
• All saved contacts
• All reminder delivery logs
• All linked web sessions
• All verification codes

This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at contact@rymind.in.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website, and we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at contact@rymind.in.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Unified Business Web Solution regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
